Ok so here is for the kharbert update! Not a lot going on right now. Basically, Jterm rocks because its so laid back, but then agian it brings so much tension because everyone is always around eachother. I've been enjoying myself to say the least...just a lot of hanging out. And it's not really like I'm drinking and partying a lot, really I only drank once since I got back....and dang, I fell down some stairs that night. But it wasn't a drunken fall, I guess EVERYONE goes flying on this certain step. The guys told me that sometimes they just watch people slip on that step over and over again. Well why dont they do anything about it?? Oh well I am not going to complain, because they threw an awesome parrty for halloween and they said they are throwing another one for marti gras. Amazing I'm excited!!
So finals get over Friday and then off to a 4 day weekend. This means, well, lots of shopping in Seattle and hanging out there. Its so cool there ... I'm excited! Yippeeee. Okay and I'm so excited to get some core classes started. Sounds weird, huh? Taking one class with absolutely nothing to do can be unbearable. Well, i did find a new boy to crush on....but hes like 22, works in a coffee shop, and was a theatre major. So I think its better that he just stays my eye candy. And yes, ladies...of course he has long hair! I wouldnt do without :)
Tongiht (I hope you like this Pfiefer...haha, I read Jon's blog..) I went out to dinner with 18 girls (feels like a sorority, but it isnt...lovely) and we had sooo much fun. The dinner otok 3 hours long, I felt like I was in a foreign country because we spent time with out bread, then lots of time with salad and drinks, and then our main course, and then dessert! it was wonderful. I juts wish we had more time for coffee. We had this pistachio ice cream...and I was so confused, I go "pistachio?" and everyone was convincing me that it was good b/c I guess I sounded disgusted, but i was like.... "NO! I LOOOOVE pistachio" it was really funny. anad no, I did not slip or find 10 dollars, it was good.
Alrighty... so crew starts next week...urghhhh it takes up so much time, oh well! I am sure I will love it juts so much when we get started but I am just so out of shape. I tried erging and wow. Damn. Erging is one sport you hvae to consistently do, and if you stop, dang it shows. hmmmmm. ......
my prof wrote a play and had dinner with brad pitt and some big time directors. How cool is that? He wrote Police Be - it is in the SunDance festival. I dont know a whole lot about it, but be watchin for a big time movie possibly...... thatd be awesome, the prof definitely deserves it, hes way cool.
Okay I've had fun blogging for now, hvae an excellent ..... whatever it is you are doing. And chances are, well yes, I miss everyone! Whens your guys' spring break? Mine is March 19-29. | Man... Jterm is awesome... and crazy, I have my midterm next week! It's great though, it hardly feels like we have school right now. I sleep in until like noon everyday and just am so lazy b/c my class is from 3-5pm.
Last night I stayed at U-Dub (UW) which was awesome. That's such a cool school, and it was wild because it was initiation weekend, so some crazy stuff was going on, so there weren't really any frat parties. But we had fun regardless. We hung out in Seattle and drove around ~ and somehow ended up at an IHOP. Yes, we ordered FunnyFace Pancake but our pancake came to us pretty sad because we asked for our face o be a little more on the serious side.
I decorated my room and it looks way cool but uhmmmm I dont know how to post pictures in xanga? can anyone help me out.... then I could give you a view of my room! its so nice. Me and Liz look over our campus' golf course, and the mountains. Its really quite amazing.

So... I am much, much more content with my philosophy grade. I don't want to go off on a tangent about my prof, but let's just say I figured out what works if you aren't content with a grade that you think may accurately relfect your level of committment... talk to the Dean, and then mention to your prof. that you have already talked gone to his boss. In my email to him... I made a side note "Damiera [his boss/the Dean] said to leave behind my final, so we could go over it while you are gone." It works wonders-- and my GPA went up so much. My prof. "made a mistake and gave me the wrong grade." Bullshit. Let's just say, he didn't read my paper and have substantial grounds to justify my grade. Whoa. Thank goodness I'm done dealing with that class.

Cool: I only have one class in January
Not cool: I have to read a 250 pg book by... Wed.
Cool: This is my only homework
Not cool: my prof. seems kinda crazy, and has an accent
Cool: hes an editor with the Stranger in Seattle !! Isn't that awesome
Hmmm... maybe I can get an article published in the Stranger. Whoa, that's be sweet. But not likely.
So I hope everyone is still enjoying their time in Omaha-- I had mucho fun. But I didn't realize how much I missed PLU and I'm glad to be back. I swing both ways- when I am in Omaha I'm like, ohhh I miss all my Omaha friends... then when I'm here, I don't know how I was away for two weeks! So both ways, it's good. And about this "mandatory camping trip" -- I don't think we HAVE to go unless we are in our 190 class, and I'm not... so that means dancing away in Seattle this weekend, sober, of course! :) Mucho divirtido-
I heard Omaha is getting a foot of snow! I am so jealous. But then again, it's so nice to be able to run outside here and not freeze to death... walking to classes isn't terrible, and I know I would run to the car in Omaha when it was like negative a thousand degrees.
Okay I am going to start reading...and keep reading... and do some more reading. Night all

it was fun being in year 2005, while my good friends in Canada, WA, and OR are still in 2004. Thats CRAZY. But it makes for a good time. I hope everyone had fun tonight ! ;)
So what are YOUR New Year's Resolutions? I will be figuring out mine as I pack tomorrow. School starts Monday- crazy but true. I hope everyone has a wonderful New Years Day. It was nice to see everyone, and Rory, it was nice of you to let us hang out at your house...goodnight all
